The stairlift runs on a slimline track which hugs the edge of the staircase. The track is fixed to the stairs and, as you can see, it leaves plenty of room on the staircase for other users.
Dundalk, County Louth – Curved Stairlift
Curved stairlifts by their very nature of being curved are far more complex that straight stairlifts. Before this curved stairlift was installed, our engineer completed a 3D model of the staircase that enabled the client to see how the stairlift would fit in their home.
We provide a no obligation assessment in your home before placing an order.

The first image in this series clearly shows the challenge facing the client. The client’s house required a stairliFt that would not cause an obstruction at the bottom of the stairs as it would block access to a room. The Handicare Slide Track straight stairlift is the ideal solution.
The Slide Track automatically slides the track clear of any obstacles while the stairlift moves up or down the track. This option is ideal for hallways where access is required through doorways either at the top or bottom of the stairs.
